2009 Annual Fire Company Banquet and Awards Ceremony.   

The Bart Township Fire Company held it's Annual Banquet at the Fireside Tavern  in Strasburg Friday, April 16th, 2010. After a delicious buffet meal, speeches by department heads were made and multiple awards were presented.  A lot of door prizes were given away and much fun and fellowship was had by all in attendance. Congratulations to all award winners.

Firefighter / Training Officer Larry Lucarino put together an awesome picture and video collection of the past years that was shown via an overhead projector.  The video is on youtube and broken down into 2 segments (Banquet Video Part 1) (Banquet Video Part 2)

The Special Division (Ladies Auxiliary) presented the Fire Company with a check for $20,000.00

Achievement Award - John T. Whiteside Sr.  for serving as Treasurer of the Sale Committee for 25 years.

50 Year Achievement Award - H. Curtis Buzz Woerth 59 Years, Charles Erb 54 years, George Welk 54 years, Donald K. Mowrer 51 years, Jake Hoover 50 years of continuing serving to the volunteer service.

President's Award - John T. Whiteside Sr.  presented by President John T. Whiteside Jr (Whitey)

Chief's Award - Brian D. Herr -  presented by past Chief H. Curtis "Hen" Woerth II & Chief Dave King

Rookie of the Year Award - Christy Frackman presented by past Chief H. Curtis "Hen" Woerth II & Chief Dave King

Firefighter of the Year - Jonathan B. Zook.  Voted on by secret ballot by the membership.

  Past Chief Recognition -  Chief H. Curtis "Hen" Woerth II. Hen was recognized for his 2 term, 10 year total tenure as Chief of the Department. Hen has been a member for 35 years with 25 of those serving all positions as a line officer. Hen commanded over 1,790 calls as Chief. Hen was presented with an axe plaque and a weekend getaway for him and wife Diane. 

Awards were presented for the top 10 fire responders & top 5 QRS responders. Also, special thanks to Quarryville Fire Co. Engine 5-7-2 for providing an engine company standby for the banquet.

The Bart Township Fire Company held it's Annual Banquet at the Revere Tavern in Paradise Friday, May 1st, 2009. After a delicious meal was served, speeches by department heads were made and multiple awards were presented.  A lot of door prizes were given away and much fun and fellowship was had by all in attendance.

The Special Division (Ladies Auxiliary) presented the Fire Company with a check for $30,000.00 for banquet hall renovations

Firefighter of the Year - George M. LeFevre Voted on by secret ballot by the membership.

Awards were presented for the top 10 fire responders & top 5 QRS responders.  George & Jodi LeFevre & family received a weekend getaway package in appreciation of George's 18 years of service as a line officer. Quarryville Fire Co. Chief Tim Cox & President Sherry Wertz presented us with a $500.00 gift certificate to DP Fire & Safety Co. for storing there old rescue truck last year until it was sold.  Also, special thanks to Quarryville Fire Co. Engine 5-7-2 for providing an engine company standby for the banquet.

The Bart Township Fire Company held it's Annual Banquet at the Revere Tavern in Paradise Friday, April 20th, 2007.  Here are some of the highlights from the banquet.  After a great family style meal, Liz Glick (daughter of Levi & Sarah Glick) and friend Lillian Lantz led the evening off with a patriotic song. Liz played the piano and Lillian sang. Multiple awards were presented as listed below with pictures. Much fun and fellowship was had by all.

The Special Division (Ladies Auxiliary) presented the Fire Company with a check for $20,000 earmarked for banquet hall renovations.

Jodi LeFevre was the President's Award recipient, presented by past President H. Curtis "Buzz" Woerth.

Levi K. Glick was the Chief's Award recipient, presented by Deputy George LeFevre

Chad C. Graybill was the Fireman of the Year recipient, voting by secret ballot by the membership.

H. Curtis "Buzz" Woerth was honored for his 26 years of service in the role as President of the Fire Company. Buzz received a plaque and the honor of " President - Emeritus " of the Bart Township Fire Co.

Mike Hoover received a QRS recognition award for 25 years of continuous service for his participation in the QRS as an EMT. Also, a plaque was presented to the QRS for 25 years of service since it's inception in 1982.

The Bart Township Fire Company held it's Annual Banquet at the Revere Tavern in Paradise Friday, May 19th, 2006.  Here are some of the highlights from the banquet. The Special Division (Ladies Auxiliary) presented the Fire Company with a check for $20,000 earmarked for banquet hall renovations & repairing Tanker 5-1's transmission.

The Bart Township Fire Company held it's Annual Banquet at the Revere Tavern in Paradise Friday, April 30th, 2004.  Here are some of the highlights from the banquet.

The Special Division (Ladies Auxiliary) presented the Fire Company with a check for $20,000 earmarked for banquet hall renovations & a new sign out front.

A special award was presented to Dain Null, of Null's Towing, Cochranville. Dain towed our Tanker multiple times in the past year due to engine & transmission breakdowns. Dain did not charge for his services. We showed our appreciation by giving him a Gift Certificate to Wildwood, NJ with hotel accommodations for the September Classic Car Cruise on the Boardwalk.
