Banquet 2008

The Bart Township Fire Company held it's Annual Banquet at the Revere Tavern in Paradise Friday, May 16th, 2008. Multiple awards were presented as listed below with pictures. Much fun and fellowship was had by all.

The Special Division (Ladies Auxiliary) presented the Fire Company with a check for $20,000.00

President's Award - Ken Klaassen presented by President John T. Whiteside Jr (Whitey)

Chief's Award - Aaron R. Glick presented by Chief H. Curtis Woerth II

Fireman of the Year - David D. King Voted on by secret ballot by the membership.

Also top 10 responder awards for Firefighters and top 6 responder awards for QRS personnel were presented. Special thanks to Quarryville Fire Co. Engine 5-7-2 for providing an engine company transfer for the banquet.

Banquet 2007

The Bart Township Fire Company held it's Annual Banquet at the Revere Tavern in Paradise Friday, April 20th, 2007.  Here are some of the highlights from the banquet.  After a great family style meal, Liz Glick (daughter of Levi & Sarah Glick) and friend Lillian Lantz led the evening off with a patriotic song. Liz played the piano and Lillian sang. Multiple awards were presented as listed below with pictures. Much fun and fellowship was had by all.

The Special Division (Ladies Auxiliary) presented the Fire Company with a check for $20,000 earmarked for banquet hall renovations.

Jodi LeFevre was the President's Award recipient, presented by past President H. Curtis "Buzz" Woerth.

Levi K. Glick was the Chief's Award recipient, presented by Deputy George LeFevre

Chad C. Graybill was the Fireman of the Year recipient, voting by secret ballot by the membership.

H. Curtis "Buzz" Woerth was honored for his 26 years of service in the role as President of the Fire Company. Buzz received a plaque and the honor of " President - Emeritus " of the Bart Township Fire Co.

Mike Hoover received a QRS recognition award for 25 years of continuous service for his participation in the QRS as an EMT. Also, a plaque was presented to the QRS for 25 years of service since it's inception in 1982.

Banquet 2006 The Bart Township Fire Company held it's Annual Banquet at the Revere Tavern in Paradise Friday, May 19th, 2006.  Here are some of the highlights from the banquet. The Special Division (Ladies Auxiliary) presented the Fire Company with a check for $20,000 earmarked for banquet hall renovations & repairing Tanker 5-1's transmission. Reuben L. Petersheim Jr & David D. King  were the President's Award recipients, presented by H. Curtis Woerth. Michael F. Hoover was the Chief's Award recipient, presented by H. Curtis "Hen" Woerth David C. Farmer Jr.  was the Fireman of the Year recipient, picked by the membership by ballot. Charles L. Erb was honored for his 50 years of service. 39 of those years were spent as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Charlie received a plaque and the honor of "Chairman of the Board - Emeritus " Member accept check in the amount of $20,000 from the Special Division Michael Hoover accepts the Chief's Award David C. Farmer Jr. accepts the "Fireman of the year award" Charles L. Erb accepts his plaque & recognition as "Chairman of the Board - Emeritus"

The Special Division (Ladies Auxiliary) presented the Fire Company with a check for $20,000 earmarked for banquet hall renovations & a new sign out front. John R. Graybill was the President's Award recipient, presented by H. Curtis Woerth. Michael L. Shaub was the Chief's Award recipient, presented by George LeFevre Chad C. Graybill was the Fireman of the Year recipient, presented by George LeFevre A special award was presented to Dain Null, of Null's Towing, Cochranville. Dain towed our Tanker multiple times in the past year due to engine & transmission breakdowns. Dain did not charge for his services. We showed our appreciation by giving him a Gift Certificate to Wildwood, NJ with hotel accommodations for the September Classic Car Cruise on the Boardwalk. The annual fire company banquet was held at the Historic Revere Tavern Friday night, May 2nd 2003.  Evening Highlights & Pictures The President of the fire company H. Curtis "Buzz" Woerth presented  the 'President's Award' to Ike Fisher. (not pictured) Special Division (Ladies Aux.) presented the fire company with a check in the amount of $20,000 (thanks) Chief George LeFevre presented the 'Chief's Award' to Chad Graybill. Chief George LeFevre presented the 'Fireman of the Year' award to Levi K. Glick. Chad with a door prize Weadeater. 7' tall Kevin with his doll door prize.. Our 2 most eligible Bachelorette's Liz & Priscilla. Woohoo. Thanks to all those local merchants who donated door prizes for the night.
