Building Addition Updates December 2005

The building has progressed to the final finishing stages. The kitchen cabinetry is in the finishing stages, as well as the office interior walls are ready for drywall. The plumbers are getting ready to set the fixtures in the bathrooms. Counting down the days until the occupancy permit is issued....

10/19/2005

Thanks to volunteer labor by Jeff Haupt & Jeremy Welk on starting the metal studding for the offices and day room. Finishing of the interior walls, plumbing and some miscellaneous work remain.

9/2/2005 -  Huge concrete pour. 12-13 concrete trucks full.

B.T.F.C. Building add-on & Renovations Start

 11 Furnace Rd, Bart Township. Ground has been broken for the 4 new apparatus bay addition and the kitchen renovation. The kitchen will be renovated and an additional 10 feet will be added on for more room to serve our banquets, annual sales & monthly breakfasts. The new apparatus bay additions will contain 1 drive thru bay, administrative offices, day room and utility rooms. A hose tower is also planned.

Engine 5-1-1 Checking Out It's New Home ....

 7/20/2005 - 8/3/2005 - Workers laying block, painting interior steel framing, constructing the adjoining building roofline and new entrance way.

7/15/2005 - Setting the steel structure

7/9/2005 - Bart Fire Co. members working after the monthly breakfast to remove old brick off existing building in preparation of the arrival of the steel structure this week.
