The Bart Fire Company is once
again hosting the 13th Annual Safe Kids Farm Safety Day Saturday, June 16, 2007
8 am - 2 pm
"Free for the entire family"
Free farm safety demonstrations & training for the entire
family. The entire family may attend, however, the safety stations will be
geared for children ages 7-13 with special programs for children ages 3-6.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent of legal guardian.
Safety topics include but not limited to: confined spaces,
hidden hazards, fire safety, water safety, animal safety, power equipment
safety, small equipment, creating safe play areas on the farm, chemical safety.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Families
will be given safety materials they can use to make their farms safer. For more
