BTFC was dispatched as mutual aid at 9:47pm Saturday night to assist the Quarryville Fire Company with a barn fire on Clearview Drive in East Drumore Township. First arriving units confirmed a fully involved barn and requested additional resources to the scene.
Engine 51-2 was the third arriving engine and assisted with fire suppression from the East side of the structure. Squad 51's crew assisted with various fireground tasks from the manpower pool, while Tanker 51 (Woody) assisted Tanker 57 with setting up nurse tanker operations and hauled two loads of water. Utility 51 and firepolice assisted with traffic control around the area.
Thanks to Intercourse Fire Company Engine 44-1 for standing by in our station to cover our area while we were out. All BTFC crews had cleared the scene about 3 hours later.
