Sue Welk passed away on January 2, 2026. Sue was a 63 year member of the Special Division, formerly the Ladies Auxiliary. She was the president of the Special Division from 1962 - 1967 and again from 1970-1975. She then held the position of treasurer for many years after that. She was known for her delicious cooking especially the fire company beef bbq for our many fundraisers and dried beef gravy for our monthly breakfasts. Along with her husband past fire company president George, who passed December 31, 2023 they were a devoted long time part of our fire company. Thank you Sue and George, for all that you did for our fire company.
