At 3:08pm Thursday, Bart 51 Fire Company and mutual aid were dispatched for a dwelling fire in the 400 block of Quaker Church Road in Sadsbury Township. Engine 51-2 arrived, and confirmed a two story dwelling fully involved in fire.
The house was currently undergoing renovations and was unoccupied when a nearby trash fire spread and quickly engulfed the home.
Engine 51-2 initiated initial fire attack, and was assisted by mutual aid and other BTFC crews.
The home was a total loss, and crews were on scene until about 7pm wetting down debris as the remains of the house were torn down.
